• HR Games team is preparing for the Pacific Western Regional HR Games Championships.
• Next SHRM Club meeting:  Wednesday 6:30 PM, DBH-118 (free)
• Congratulations!!! HR Games team for coming in 2nd place at the 2009 HR Games Championships
• HR Internships Information:  Go to the M.O.M. department to get the latest listing of internships.  Currently we have internships at Emanuel Hospital, Bronco Winery, Hilmar Cheese Company, Kraft Foods, EJ Gallo and Del Rio Country Club.
• Spring Classes are all full.  You will need to be a graduating senior to get into 4000 level classes.
• Our graduation ceremony falls on a Friday for Summer 2009.
• CVHRMA luncheon!  www.cvhrma.org   ($120 for students includes lunch) March, 18 2009 at the SOS Club of Modesto.
• Arroz con Pollo, our play that was produced in LA in 2008, has been nominated for the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
• SHRM Club Photo Night was a huge success!
• Congratulations Tim Boone for winning the 2008 Management/HR Student of the Year
• Congratulations Tim Boone and Tabitha Lilly for winning the 2008 Boone Memorial Scholarship by the Northern California HR Association and the HR Symposium.
• SHRM Club Hospitality suite / 2008 Graduation Ceremony
  • The SHRM club will be having a hospitality suite in DBH-118 before, during, and after the graduation ceremony.  We will be taking photos and providing 'orange juice' to all thirsty folks.

• We had a successful first club meeting on Monday 10th of September.  We talked about HR Games, WBM 2007, new members, PHR exam.  We had a surprisingly large group show up.
